It seems to me that lately there has been no such thing as "full ownership" of a product. You can't just go out and buy a DVD player or video game system and do whatever you want with it. Alter it in any way and you are breaking some sort of agreement (that you never even knew about) and can actually be sued. Mod a Xbox; get sued by Microsoft. Why? Because apparently you are just paying a one time fee to lease their software and hardware. When the fuck did this happen?
